Follicular Monitoring (Complete)

Follicular monitoring is the technique of repeatedly monitoring the ovarian follicles using ultrasonography to check for egg mutation and to map the ovulation process. The follicular test, which also looks for follicular cysts in the ovaries, is an essential part of timing and IVF evaluation.
For women using reproductive medication, a follicular scan is also necessary to monitor drug response and modify dose.
