Renal Doppler
Pre test Information : No Special Preparation Needed
Renal artery Doppler ultrasound measures the blood flow into and out of the kidneys using high frequency sound waves.
This examination may be required by your doctor if you have uncontrolled high blood pressure in order to check for any constriction of the blood arteries that travel from the aorta to each kidney. Each kidney's tiny blood arteries are examined as well.
